Dahlia Washington

Dahlia joined IONIC at the onset of her career as an Intern Architect which allowed her to strategically tailor her education while gaining valuable field experience. She started out assisting other designers and architects in our office in the development of construction documents and has since risen to the role of Director of Restaurant Architecture.

Dahlia acts as a mentor to new designers and employees and helps them understand and achieve IONIC’s ideals and goals. She manages production and construction for multiple restaurants throughout Virginia and the Carolinas, including the Wendy’s Corporation and franchisees as well as other companies. She has also been involved in the design of various retail centers and restaurants at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach and North Carolina.

16 years total, with Ionic DeZign Studios since 2007.
