La’Veesha Rollins

La’Veesha joins IONIC after 16 years collectively in the Interior Design and Architectural Field. La’Veesha is a Virginia native who has a strong passion for sustainable design and creating spaces that link both exterior and interior spaces.

Her career started out as an Interior Designer after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University Interior Design program. She began practicing interior design with a local hospitality firm that works primarily with med to high end hotels. After working within the hospitality sector of design, La’Veesha transitioned to the residential construction world for 4 years before heading back to school for a Master of Architecture from Hampton University. During her time there, a study abroad trip to Italy fueled her interest in the sustainability aspect of architecture. She later worked with her fellow classmates at Hampton University and Old Dominion University on the Unit 6 Solar Decathlon House in 2011.

La’Veesha is skilled in project management, conceptual renderings, REVIT, interior design, and furniture procurement. Past projects include residential, multi-family, k-12, higher ed, and new construction with the commercial sector and retro-fits.  Volunteerism includes professional organizations as the City Center for the Richmond Area with IIDA VA/WV Chapter. La’Veesha greatest accomplishments are that of her two kids who she spends every second she can with and enjoys camping, gardening, and traveling with them.
