Another big week for IONIC is in the books!
We enjoy sharing updates on our social media pages throughout the week but sometimes our team is moving too fast to keep up. That’s why we’re starting the Weekly Roundup – one easy place to see everything we’re working on.
Here’s the latest:
New team member! – We have a new addition to the IONIC team! Keep an eye out for Corrie Marzianno’s introduction on our social media platforms next week.
#SneakPreview: Corrie wrote her thesis on designing Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) to help abused children, which she is very passionate about.
#IONICAwards – New projects include a Wendy’s in Odessa, TX and converting an existing facility in Suffolk into a new Wendy’s location. Additionally, we’ve been awarded a new Popeyes in Ashland, VA.
Wendy’s Conversion Taskforce – We are happy to participate in Wendy’s goal to reach a total number of new locations by using existing buildings to achieve this. Read more about their goals, here.
DeZign Trend – The addition of outdoor seating continues to be a popular trend with our restaurant clients. With COVID restrictions still in place, restaurants not only need more space for dining but open space, specifically. Beautiful outdoor dining areas are the perfect answer. We’re working on construction documents for JJ’s Bar and Grill as well as preparing a concept for an outdoor area for Melting Pot Richmond.
Read more about this design trend and how we create solutions for our clients in our March blog post.
Building Underway! Building has begun for two clients. Those are Nine Mile Car wash (expected to be completed within the next 6 months) and Gayton Starbucks starts construction this week.
Finally, we invite you to follow along as we provide CA services for the new Mancoll Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery office in Virginia Beach. Seeing our designs through from start to finish is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. It’s eye-opening as well! Take a look behind the scenes at every step of the build, here.
